Im in the market for a new drive for my OS, id prefer not to get an SSD as id like to wait a while until they are more reliable, heard way too many horror storys.
So whats the best Sata 3 HDD i can get within price reason ofcourse ^^

I would recommend the Crucial RealSSD M4 64GB, since it's going to be your OS drive and you need it to be reliable. Of course, the write speeds will be lower than the higher capacity drives / Sandforce, but I suppose writes aren't too important on an OS drive.

Ok well im sold, just read some reviews, comments on this forum and comments on the OCUK store page, next pay day im getting this ^^
Thanks for the recommendation bud :)

Update the firmware for a performance boost:)
Bear in mind that it will format to about 60GB remember to turn off defragmenter, hibernate & disk indexing. Limit the size of the page file [set one up on another drive] & recycle bin. If you use ready boost that will not be active/needed.

Otherwise I'd recommend the WD 1TB Caviar Black.
