Looking for new ram and need some help

Hi guys,

Im looking to get some new ram as one of my sticks have died.

just wondering what the best options there are. I was looking at the corsair vengence range.

my motherboard support DDR3 Dual channel 2400+ (oc).

Corsair is very over rated, look at Team or G.skill, they are both the top of the market at the moment.

How much RAM do you want is the next question I guess.

If you look at Corsair 2400mhz CL11 your talking £80
Or you can go for Team as posted above and save yourself £25
or go for the Team White Frost CL10 for £65, save yourself £15
all of these are 8GB, 2400mhz kits

The only one to really watch out for is Crucial tracers, they're not supported by Gigabyte or Asus boards.

Guys 2400 is a crazy idea if the ops sig is correct with 2500K. The memory controllers very rarely go 2400. Best RAM for this is 2133mhz C9 in my eyes.

Team is a great choice for sure.
