Hi all,

long story short, split with the mrs (sucks), looking to buy my own house once ours has completed its sale.
Was wondering if there were any places online that i could buy just about everything i need, all white goods etc, whereby i'd get a better discount for using the same dealer?

None of it is really stuff OCUK sell, so i think we're safe.

Stuff like:
  • Fridge (under worktop style)
  • Freezer (under worktop style)
  • Washer/Dryer
  • Cooker
  • Microwave
  • Iron
High street places don't really offer discounts, so any advise much appreciated.

Best bet for a discount is an indepandant local retailer. Argos/Curries etc wont give a discount no matter how much you buy, i doubt online retailers will offer discounts either.

I don't know about discounts but if you haggle a bit you can usually get extended warranties added on from places like Currys .

Jual Domestics...

...Going to be buying fridge freezer & washer from these guys, approx £100 - £200 per item cheaper than other places!

Why would you want that? Just buy German and you won't need an extended warranty (which are pretty much a rip off anyway).

B&Q sell most forms of white goods.

Currys won't tend to do discount on the main items, unless you're buying the add-ons; cover, accessories, essentials etc, they might be able to do something on delivery (lumping it all together and knocking money off) but delivery is done by an external company, so they're not always able to alter delivery prices
