Looking for some feedback on videos

on the subject of microphone hiss, you can add a noise gate/suppression filter to OBS that will help with that :) just click the little gear next to the mic/aux bar, might take a bit of fiddling and experimenting to get it right, but will let get better audio without having to fork out for a new mic just yet.

Thanks for the feedback guys, yes your right regarding the microphone hiss, I'm going to download audacity and try to record the game audio and microphone audio on separate tracks so that i can have a go at editing any mic noise out in post.

only watched the first minute.

change your intro. Its far too "in your face" Needs to be more mellow. Dont like the bass/boom thing.
mic or sound issues?
also if you are doing a BLIND playthrough maybe state it in the video description/title. Blind plays are vastly different.
also uhh 720p ? tbh i dont watch anything that is 720p. Is this 2010? :D

will update further.

Just more info on the "blind" stuff. Basically you need to state this because blind plays contain a lot of dead time so to speak. You got a 30 minute long video man. I would shorten it to maximum of 20 or even 15 minutes. I would also do minimum of 1080p / 1440p. (some watch on very big screens :) )

Also if you knew what you were doing you could focus your voice on entertaining us rather than wondering what to do?

:D

Thanks for the feedback

Yes your probably right with the intro, will looking at making it a bit more gentle and less in your face.

Yes it should be 1080p thats just me being lazy and trying to keep file sizes down, will change it to record in 1080 from now on

yes did have a few pauses as i was trying to figure out the game, will be sure to title it blind play through or learn the game a bit before in future. because as you say i'm not capable of learning a game and trying to be interesting at the same time haha

Its been exactly 2 weeks today since I started, have managed to keep up a video daily and feel I am improving, just still a long way to go to get the video quality up to where I want it to be

Finally got 1080p recording sorted :)

All future videos will now be 1080, although still 30fps, but given most of my videos are stratergy/ simulations games (ie. not call of duty) i didn't think 60fps was really required?
