Title says it all, basically I am on the lookout for some first person shooters. They have to be able to use a CONTROL PAD (Xbox 360) and 2 PLAYER (maybe 4?) SPLITSCREEN. << IMPORTANT
As long as they were NOT released on the PSX/N64 or anything older.
I am aware of the differculty in finding such games that conform to this specification. They have to be compatible with my system so I wont be able to play newly released games (anything newer than the likes of F.E.A.R.).
amd 2600+ 64
512MB RAM
Windows XP PRO
Nvidia PCI 5200
I know this quite low spec ATM I will though have a better system after crimbo(amd 3000+, 1GB, Nvidia 6600GT) I'll be running the games in 1360x768 (maybe lower for now)
Why do I want to do this?
Well, I currently on my htpc I do a lot (a lot) of emulating and playing the likes of Turok: Rage Wars (which I do love) however I don't wanna limit myself to n64 or PSX graphics. I would essentially like to play games like Halo, Red Faction, Serious Sam, etc but since Xbox and PS2 level games are not commercially emulationable I'll have to opt for PC Games. I would like to be able to play the games in 2 player with a splitscreen like you do on PS2/Xbox. Like I said earlier FPS, PC games are designed to be played at a desk and over LAN/Internet and not SPLITSCREEN/Game Pad.
I know you guys play a lot of FPS games any games you come accoss or know of that have these features please post. I'll get the games sometime in this week, maybe.
I have none of these games ATM, so any input and I'll be greatful.
