If you reduce that space (the pitch) by 25% it has a knock-on effect.
The through-cut interferes with the first loop. It can be moved but then the wall thickness is too thin on the left.

Could add a chunk on to the end for it to feed through, but then it's no longer fully cylindrical.
The 16mm has a worse problem at the same pitch due it being thicker diameter. The pitch would need to be increased for it rather than decreased.

, seems like a lot of work would need to be put in to correct it all and make the changes, I wouldn't want to take that much more of your time then I already have.
