Looking for spec help

Would appreciate some help in formulating a build for a new computer set up. We are architects working with Autocad,Sketchup and possibly some other 3D software that has yet to be determined.Would like a graphics card that would run multi screen,plenty of RAM/storage and fast processor - I5?
Would like a 23 - 24" screen,decent keyboard,mouse etc.

Grateful for your swift attention to my request. Not sure about I5 versus I7 but will accept your advise. So far as the rest of the specification goes it seems fine for now - what kind of cost are we looking at for the spec you have advised?

Thanks for that-will keep my eye on comments posted here and get back to you. I must admit that i had reservations about PSU rating - i had i mind a 500W rating but am quite happy to take advise from somebody that knows far more about these things than i. Thanks once again and hopefully i will be back to you

Can we improve on this specification for my specific requirements? I have looked at the OCUK site today and there seems to be other options to consider - BenQ 24" monitor, Gforce GTX460 graphics card or Radeon 6970, Asrock P67 Extreme 6 motherboard Intel P67 (Skt 1155), OCZ Agility 120GB SSD, Samsung Spin point 1 TB SATA?
Would prefer to upgrade power supply for possible upgrade/additional hard drives for a later date?
Any benefit in waiting for the Bulldozer chips?
