looking for the cheapest possible SFF pc to connect to my tv to stream media content (up to 4k preferably)

Hi all - as above really. I'd like a cheap solution for something to plug into my samsung 55" tv via hdmi. Nothing too ancient and slow but looking to spend as little as possible! Mainly to watch youtube/streaming (i can't stand the constant ads on youtube vids i watch so want to use an adblocker and not use the inbuilt samsung app). Small and low power and ready to go out of the box ideally.

Get a USFF like a Lenovo Tiny or HP Elitedesk Mini or similar. Just make sure it has the relevant HDMI spec to deliver your required resolution and refresh rate.

The issue here is they seem to be cracking down on adblockers....

As for a mini pc, I've got a mini forums um560xt which works pretty well as a mini pc, cost around 280 with AMD5600H, 16GB ram and 512GB ssd.

SFF seems a bit overkill for what you're asking, Chromecast with Google TV can also work. For YouTube you can sideload SmartTubeNext which blocks ads and skips sponsors.

USFF with a reasonable spec should do everything you need.

Shield tv or other android box would be more ideal, fast boot up,.low power consumption and easier to use interface with a remote

The rainforest currently has a mini pc on sale ryzen 6 core 12 thread 4.2ghz 16gb Ram 512mb ssd for just £245. Its the miniforums mini pc that looks like a speaker.
