How does one do the £2 thing? I have PIA VPN - is it as simple just VPNing to the working country and signing up?

I do wish they'd separate the music out from the no adds on YouTube.

I have a separate music sub on a family plan (2 even if counting the basic Prime access Amazon do, but it's not like for like), I don't want to pay for another one.

I would however pay for no-ads if they discounted the music off with a cheaper tier.

I've tried premium and did see value in it, but not that much, and skipping ads/watching a few short ones isn't that annoying on the YouTube content I watch.

Same, i pay for premium anyway but i don't need the music element already got Spotify.

I'm sure YT Music and YT Premium was separate at one stage. Then they shutdown Google Music, merged YT Music and Premium together and used that to justify the price increase.

I dropped Spotify they are all a much of a muchness now, if you use YouTube then the premium is worthwhile. I do hate how bad the UI is in the app now though, its far far to busy and you cant customise anything.

Honestly to be without ads always makes it worth it - Although I feel like I should definitely be taking advantage of Youtube Music

Pretty sure all this fiddling they are doing to try and defeat ad blocking is causing some site problems when not blocking ads - there still little glitchy issues with loading into the site and videos where some stuff is weirdly delayed, etc.

Seems Brave brower beats youtube again?

I was getting those pop ups about so many videos before youtube would block me, I didn't do anything and it just seems to be working without adds?

On my work laptop, Adblock is working ok at the moment - an ad tries to load (I see literally the first frame and it's immediately killed) but the video does play.

Like I said earlier in the thread, it seems I get a different experience every week as they continue to fiddle with this.

That's how I see it. Absolutely worth the price. I only use the YT Music if something isn't on Apple Music

The VPN price because I'm a cheapskate but to be honest with the amount of YouTube content I consume, even the proper UK price isn't out of pocket. Assuming I opted to use YT music more often.
