Looking for upgrade help

Hi,

Looking to upgrade my PC and would like some advise on what you would replace if for around about £300 - £400.

My system is:-

Asus P5N32-E SLi
Q6600 Overclocked to 3.00
X1950 512MB
Corsair XMS2 2GB x 2
64gb Samsung SSD C:
1.5 TB Seagate D:
Samsung 2232BW monitor

I play the odd game ie Left 4 dead and use the PC for general stuff

Change the GPU to this or this the Q6600 is still a good cpu, I would say it's a waste to change that.

I'd do as RJC said and get either of those GPU's. Then if you really wana spend the money, buy a peripheral, case etc u maybe always wanted. Otherwise save the dough for a future great build or other enjoyment. It would be a waste to change that rig if u game light as it's spot on at the mo.

new graphics card, maybe new psu/case depending on what you currently have.

might be able to squeeze a bigger screen into your budget? Maybe a dell 24". can pick up the older generation dells really cheap these days.

What PSU would i require for the Asus ATI Radeon HD 4870 Glaciator GPU?

As i suspect mine might not be powerful enough.

minimum i think i've seen recommended is 520/550w.
