Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade my CPU, Mobo and RAM and don't know much about the current hardware available.

If possible could I get suggestions for an AMD and an Intel setup. (Or advice on which to go for.) Looking to spend around £400 and for the intel spec would be looking for Sli.

Thanks in advance.

need your setup details, plus when you say sli do you already have a gpu or you want to buy 2 new gpu's,because £400 would not be enough if thats the case.

They both similar in performance?

Worth going up to PC3-12800 RAM?

hi you can go up on the ram as i said there are a lot of options for you really, you can go for better ram and a cheaper mb i just did as close to your money thats all,i wouldn,t think there is much in it between the 2 best thing would to look at benchtest i,m not that clued up on the amd side of things tbh,the i5 is a good little chip but not for sli really, tbh if you want a good sli setup you better of going the x58 route
