Hey guys,

I've got a couple of hundred spare from this months pay and an upgrade itch, below is my current rig, where can I or should I be looking to change / upgrade?


GeForce GTX 970
SanDisk Ultra II 120GB ( boot drive)
Corsair Carbide 540
8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 2666MHz
Gigabyte Z97P-D3 Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard
Intel Core i5-4590 3.30GHz (Haswell)
Seagate Barracuda 2TB (games drive)

Aerocool DS Edition Fan - to replace stock.

I'd go CPU, no point having a Z97 mobo with a non k cpu. (check MM there's some cheap ones) If not then as said above, keybaord, mouse, monitor PSU. Depending on what you have on that front.
 
I'd save the money for now and see what happens soon, if you really want to upgrade I'd probably hit up another SSD for the games you play the most with longish load times, i.e BF4/Skyrim/GTA V. Like the others said a new screen could be nice if yours isn't that great.
 
Currently playing on a LG 4K tv, I'm a sofa gamer so I use an Xbox wireless controller for pretty much everything, I guess it makes sense to just saving it up and see what comes out in the future, I just hate this itch you get after a few months of not doing anything with the pc
 
I'd say sell your current CPU and then replace with a K chip and have some fun/play around with overclocking if you're bored.

Else, save your money since you play on a TV with a xbox controller therefore don't require peripherals.
