Hey, I'm looking to build a fairly good PC for a fairly cheap price. So far I've found pretty much what I'm after with an Intel core i7 3770k CPU, Nvidia GTX 660 Ti GPU etc etc. for around £1200 including a keyboard and mouse and, at the moment, the monitor I'm looking at...

I've heard a lot of positive commments on the Dell Ultrasharp range so I've been looking at the U2312HM. Would anyone on here recommend this monitor or is there a better one out there? Don't really want to spend anything more than £170 on it.

Cheers

I have had a 2312hm for the best part of a year now, and I have just purchased a second for dual screen use.

Very good monitors for £155, e-IPS with the least input lag I've ever felt on an LCD.

Dell U2312HM is the best monitor for that price range in my view and has very very low input lag for gaming too.:)

Thanks for the advice guys! I love Asus as I've had a couple of their laptops and they have been very reliable and very nice build quality. However, I'm finding it hard to choose between the Asus and Dell monitors as input lag from the Dell is next to nothing but it has no HDMI port whereas the Asus has... Got a feeling I'll go with the Dell!

Thanks again!

Edit: Tbf, I've found the Asus for £167 which is very good value for a 24" the Dell equivalent is £205!

I have to say I'm very impressed with the Asus monitors the bezel is amazingly small and BF3 and Crysis 3 look amazing on 3 screens ......
