Looking to buy a large drive

was looking at the Seagate 750GB for about £250 any one got any or seen any deals where i can get more than 750£ for that price

e.g 2 * 500gb or 600gb or 400gb or 300gb or 320gb

Its for putting all my music on to. would most likely be running it internal or external in a caddy.

I have ide or sata (think its sata 1 i have mobo is a Gigabyte GA-K8NS 939 Ultra.

Well yeah it is easy to get more than 750gb for less than £250 but it depends how many SATA ports you have, for instance you could get 3x300gb Samsung drives from OcUK and it will cost you ~£180.

It would appear that your mobo has 4 sata ports, assuming your current drive is sata then you can add 3 more. So 3 x Seagate 320Gb sata hard drives. £70.44 per Seagate plus p&p brings you in at just over £210 for 960Gb unformatted. One 750Gb is £270.19. Does you case have the space and is your psu upto the extra demands ?
