This thread and a good bout of procrastination has seen me order one of those secrid wallets and now your post has me looking at the Tile Mate. Would it not just slip in where they claim that you can store a few coins or is that the wallet would interrupt the signal?

I see... it's about the thickness at 6.2mm. And the Slim doesn't have the replaceable battery... I'll ponder on...

I think that it's probably too thick, but if I order one / look into it further I'll let you know my findings.

I would 100% recommend having a Tile for your house / car keys - lifesaver! I love that if I have one of my phone, wallet and keys I can find all three

Two thinks to remember.

1) If it can hold coins, it's a purse and men don't carry purses
2) Use the Nando's app. You get a receipt with a code that you just type in.

I quite like the look of those.

It's an elastic band with two squares of leather stitched on? What happens if you don't have enough cards to keep it tight?

The indigo one of those is sooo nice.

The only thing is that it won’t fit my ‘tile’ I.e a small whistling keychain attachment that you can then locate with a phone app (and vice verse). My tile has saved me so much time I would have lost by being a moron

I was quite happy with my Visconti Trifold leather wallet until I saw the Secrid Mini wallet and now I have one on the way, London Luggage have them on offer, £40 with free delivery.

You only need RFID blocking if you only have one contactless card. If 2 or more RFID signals are detected the it fails anyway.

If you're a fan off minimal's go with a zeroz if that isnt your thing get a dash (I've had three of these and they've served me well!) I just have a habbit of losing em....

Ah I didn't realise that the 'new model' slim tile is so much slimmer than my existing one. Have a slim wallet and a slim tile on the way so you will indeed get an update in due course. Not at all bothered about the new slim tiles not having replaceable batteries - my current chunky ones don't and happy to pay the premium for the sanity

Hi team - my secrid SLIMwallet (not mini) arrived today and I am blown away. It’s very small and will definitely work with the new slim tiles. I have the old chunkier style tile model which is much bigger than the new slim tile and you can see what it looks like with the tile in it in the last few pics. All pics have 4 cards in the aluminium bit, one bonus non-embossed card on the other pockets plus £30 (£20 note and £10 note).

Next to tile (which is a chunky style old model tile - girly colours one too oooOooooOo)

With the tile in it showing how much it causes a bulge (bear in mind you would never look at a wallet like this and your pocket would keep the flap closed):

If you put the chunky tile in the stupidest position you can see it:

If you put it in the most sensible position:

The only downside I can see is that the leather will definitely scuff very easily. I’ve made some mini markings with my well trimmed nails so keys will wreck it I bet.

Overall, absolutely blown away. Must purchase. Again this is the slim wallet, not the mini wallet.
