Hi!

just after some advice really. Im 25 and have had 3 cars so far :) Started with a 106 Quiksilver, then a Mk4 Golf Gti 1.8T.. then due to that having a lot of mile and wanting to save i sort of downgraded to a Citroen C4 VTR (instant regret). ive had this car for a few years now and have never enjoyed driving it tbh

so im looking to change up to something with a bit of a wow factor and a bit of go in it like the golf had. Probably only budget around £5000-7000 tops really. I doubt my C4 would fetch much in resell anyway

so what would you guys recommend? i quite like Type R's, always been fond of those, Focus ST or any hot hatch really but wouldn't be against any other shape or size. What would you guys suggest? i want something that makes me want to go out for random summer drives and stuff like my 1st 2 cars did :)

I guess that's probably quite far from what you were thinking though.

Porsche Boxster?

Probably similar.

More serious...

SEAT Leon Cupra K1?

Or something similar.

Weapon Spec Cupra with a lot lower miles than the K1?

So long as your happy buying modified.

Guessing you don't need a hatchback then? If not, what about something like a Nissan 350z or Honda S2000? Rear wheel drive, decent power and good looks.

+1 for this, that's a good budget for a 350z or s2000, both great cars but different beasts.

Hawker

Forgot about 350z's, i did always like those. Are they just 2 seats though? I suppose i should be sensible in that regard and get something with rear seats just incase :( gf only has a poxy c2

What kind of mileage and type of driving are you doing now? You mention a lot of miles when you bought the C4, but what about now?

Sorry yea i just meant it was getting on a bit, i brought it with high mileage tbh!

Average, only about 20 minutes to work and back all weak then just wherever we go on weekends etc so nothing crazy

Infinity did the G35 which is basically a 4 seat version of the 350z, im guessing theyre about the same money but not sure, worth a look
