Hey, i currently have an antec 900 case with all the hardware mentioned in sig, i wanna make it a little more to look at, its pretty much looked the same for the 4 years i have had this case, only difference is its not lighted by cathodes anymore, what can i do to make it looks nice again, budget isnt a lot, but its aesthetical modding that i want to do.

this is what i have to work with at the moment

I was thinking, CF vinyl the inside, cause the grey metal is crappy, maybe choose a colour scheme, i was thinking red maybe, cause i have a amd based system, board/graphics card etc, possibly some way of tidying wires up? i had a go the other day but im not sure how to hide them very well?

More ideas please :D

If you don't mind me saying, lose the LED fans, they make it look pretty tacky. You need to pick a colour scheme. Red and black would be a good place to start as your graphics card matches that scheme. Spray the interior black, or use CF vinyl as mentioned earlier, and maybe paint some of the interior red, such as the IO plate. Then get some nice red LED fans like some of the Coolermaster or Bitfenix ones. Maybe a red LED strip. Will make it look more co-ordinated and generally better to look at. You could also backlight the drive bay covers with red cathodes.

Basically, you have far too many colours at the moment!

ah yeah good point, id need to change to lights in my psu to red? is that safe?

Provided you discharge it and don't go licking capacitors and coils it's fine. I've modded 3 or 4 PSUs now and I've never got shocked. I did stick a screwdriver in a CRT TV's PCB once though which was fun.

You'll invalidate any warranty of course, but then that's what modding is all about :)
