Looking to upgrade, not sure what to get

Eh, this Corsair is only an extra £15 and I'm happy to spend that for the future proofing!

What's the warranty on that Seasonic? I know internally the Corsair stuff is quite nice, was reading a review on JohnnyGURU.com which rates it very well, internally all decent caps too!
Also 5 year warranty on the Corsair PSU
Just seems silly to get a much lower wattage psu for such a miniscule saving!

Warranty with the Seasonic is 5 year warranty with OcUK, no need to send the PSU overseas

GPU's are getting more effecient so the Seasonic won't have problems with any single GPU.

Is there any way to 'compare' Coolers? Like with PSU's (at least the tidy ones that stick to ratings) have a wattage, cpu's have benchmark numbers that can be (roughly) compared across processor models, ram comes in amounts, etc there's generally ways to tell which is better than which - Is there that sort of number for coolers? Maybe some sort of power dissipation capacity number or something?

So many models of cooler, no idea which is good

It's sad there's no numeric way to rate coolers, That would be an interesting project to undertake!

Well, what would be the most recommended cooler for under £40 for just the CPU? Preference bias towards quietness but a little fan noise is acceptable!
