Looks like fun:

fair enough, it doesn't look very composed at all out there on the 'ring though, seems to be out of shape half of the time.

This would be because it's a very very, very, very....

.....very powerful car.

Look at the GTR video and it is all very much smoother and more controlled. This could just be down to a ham fisted driver though.

I'm thinking it might be more down to the four-wheel-drive, the massive amount of computer control and the lower power, actually....

.........from the video you get the feeling that driving the GT-R is like going for a hygenists appointment - extremely effective but very clinical and definitely not fun.

Meh. You might think that 'IBM uber alles' is fun. Me, I'm thinking 'not fun' to be honest. If I want fun, I'll save up for a Series 1 Jaguar E-Type. Or a '69 Dodge Charger R/T. Or an Olds Vista Cruiser with a big block. Or Dodge Challenger T/A. Or a Fiat Abarth 695 SS. Or a Ferrari 365GT4 2+2. Or a Lamborghini Countach LP400. Each of which could be bought for the money Datsun want for their supercar-killer than can't actually beat a cart-sprung American car on a slightly demanding piece of German road ;):p

Don't get me wrong, I do respect the GT-R. I respect anything that tries to advance automotive technology solely for the purpose of going fast. I just wouldn't want to own one.
