looks like lots of athletics tickets just released

We are being offered previously allocated seats by our employer now which is useful, each day there is a list of availability at 9am.
 
Just got a sniff at the 200m final next Thursday evening. £50 ticket, hit reserve and... and... nothing. :-)

Actually I only want to go in and wander around the park. I didn't realise until yesterday that this required a ticket of some sort. I naively expected to be able to turn up, get fleeced for £30 or so, and be able to soak in a bit of atmosphere. Or rain.

PS If anyone fancies the closing ceremony and has a spare grand in their back pocket, that seems to be available. ;-)

Yeah I'd also love to just walk around the olympic park. I wonder how much it costs for that privilege. Judging by the posts here, probably almost impossible to get one.

A woman rang LBC radio yesterday saying she spent £1,600 for the opening ceremony. She said she thought it was good value for money :eek: and would have spent £2500 if it had been that. Lol, mad.
 
WOOP! I got a men's 10m Platform diving final final ticket! (where hopefully Tom Daley will be competing)

edit: as in, hopefully he makes the final!

I had a big list of events today from work. No Athletics but gonna go for something to get me in park on Sunday or Sat.
