Looks like my alignment is out then

Was out rotating wheels today when I was greeted by the below when taking off my nsf (ps yes that's the back of the car, this was after i'd rolled it back there):

Think its fair to say I need the alignment checked/sorted then, may just buy a new tyre too as the other front is only a couple of months old after suffering damage and this one is down to about 4mm

In the meantime there is no legality issue as far as I can see, but I'm happy to be corrected if I'm wrong?

It could be a number of things. Sometimes it's alignment, but it can also be caused by worn bushes or shocks.....

True, shocks look ok though, certainly not leaking and all bushes/ joints are fine too had a quick check whilst the wheels were off

Shocks don't always leak ...they can lose dampening over time.?

Ineffective dampers cause cupping rather than the consistent wear shown here. Mostly likely a camber or toe problem.

You need a lift and a prybar to properly look at bushes.

Yeah the car was up on stands and I was using a bar

Not as good as having a lift to get right underneath but still easy to have a decent look
