Loop advice?

I'm finally getting my new pump tomorrow after over three weeks since it broke and I was wondering whether this loop would be ok?
Pump>res>CPU block>rad>pump and so on

No that order is a sure fire way of killing your pump. You must have the res before the pump so no air can pass through it.

Go for

Res>pump>CPU>rad

Or

Res>pump>rad>CPU

I had the first one before but the way I have it set out just now will be the second option is there any reason not to do it that way?

Both are completely fine, the second way will also give marginally better temps as the rad will cool the water including the pumps heat dump before it hits the cpu.
