HI All,

OK, I have decided on my board for the new build, Rampage 2, I am going to add the Chipsets to my loop as my current striker is a sucker for heat from the N/b - S/B.

Question is, what's the best loop setup?

I'll be using a TJ07 with Two rads in the base most likely a PA120.4 and a 120.2 (I already have a 120.3 so if I could use that instead I would! ?! ? !)

Any advice on this would be great.

Thanks as always.

Indeed there are, thats the main reason for my post... there are that many to read i was hoping someone could be more specific on the build etc.

Ill spend a night with google i think

Spend the night having a good look at what others have done - then come back with your thoughts / aims / likes etc.

Also remember that the rampage 2 uses an intel chipset, which should be a lot cooler that your current board.

^Davy is currently in possession of a rampage 2 which is burning his fingers, and my UD5 will do the same if there's no airflow over the board. They don't run that cool :(

It would be fair to say that most of the reason they're hot is the mosfets running hot and the cooling systems being joined together, rather than the chipset as such. If you watercool the rampage, make sure you do the mosfets too.

You can use your triple radiator, but it wont be as good. Unsurprisingly.

Good advice from SS as always.

To be honest if all you are cooling is CPU and mobo I would have thought the triple rad would be enough, as they are enough for a GPU and CPU.

BUT, if I had the money, I would put a 120.4 in the bottom for the hell of it :D

I have seen them fitted with a 120.4 and a 120.2 (both PA's) in the bottom but think a 120.4 and 120.3 wont leave enough room for the PSU and cable, all in the bottom.
