I have a XSPC d5 pump/res combo with a rx360 and rx120 for CPU only. I'm just waiting for you blocks so I thought I would put a ex120 rad in the bottom of my 800d so I don't have to mod the case. I put it in and refilled the loop. No air in it now and settled.

My issue before I put in the 3rd rad I got 61c after an hour of prime. Now with the same volts etc I'm getting 65c room temp is also about the same. Any ideas as to why an extra rad and a bit of extra tube would cause a jump in temps??

what setting do you have the pump on?
also, what is your fan setup?

my thoughts at this point are either you need to up the pump a bit to counteract the extra restriction (though this shouldn't make 3C difference) or if you've got fans pulling air over the new rad in to the case and other fans blowing out over your other rad that the warmer case air is inhibiting your original rad

I have the 360 in the top exhausting and the 120 in the back also exhaust. The 120 in te bottom is intake sounds like that's the issue as the case rep is higher. Im slowly realising the 800d for all it's size it a bit restrictive. Might make the hot swap bay an intake chamber.

see if you can run the new 120 as an external just to see if that drops your temps back to or below - oh by the way did you reseat your CPU block while you were adding the new rad - possible you remounted it slightly not as good?

Looks like it was the airflow from intake. I've put the rad on the end of the hot swap drive bay and put a 120 fan as intake on the other side. looks better and temps are back. Thanks AB123
