Loose SSD cables?

I bought a couple of Samsung SSD ( https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-146-SA&tool=3 ) for a new build a few months ago and I've had nothing but problems. One seemed to cause corruptions and I gave up on it and never got around to returning. Now the other one, which I use for the OS is sometimes failing to boot and reporting corruption.

I was getting ready to maybe use the warranty but I opened the box, fiddled with the cables, sata and power and it worked. I don't know if it was a coincidence.

Has anyone come across this? Any advice on better cables?

Thanks!

Are they properly secured? (I know stupid question but you never know, may of just slipped your mind at the time :) )

Do your cables have the metal secure clips on as such:

they dont click into place on ssd's thats the trouble, you could put some tape on them to sucure them into the drive as they slip out easily sometimes
