Loosening stickers?

I have about 200 phone covers here, all with a white sticker on them.

Problem is, when I remove the white sticker, it leaves a bit of sticky residue and gets dirty when I try and rub it off.

Can anyone think of a way, to remove the residue or loosening it before to make the sticker easier to remove?

Use a very mild solvent or something like Petrol . Rub the sticker with it so it soaks in a bit ,then the whole sticker will peel off hopefully leaving no residue !

Furniture polish. Spray over sticker, leave for a few minutes, polish off. Sticker remnants and residue gone

I actually have 600, but only 200 of them have a surface which likes to leave residue

pretty sure it's orange juice or something similar that usually helps take off that gunk

Tried hot water, no luck, still leaves residue, tried furniture polish also doesn't work.

Haven't got anything to make steam here, and no ethanol around

From a similar experience - Nail Varnish remover is the winner...

Works straight away but go steady, too much take off paint.

Use cotton wool - worx like a treat

You can get stuff called Goo Gone that gets rid of sticky stuff left behind.
