Losing connection on ethernet.

I am too, and I have Devolo power line adapters, i was getting drop outs aswell until I connected to a switch then to the power line plug, never get drop outs now (I had a switch anyway that I was using). before hand i was looking in the Intel network program and it specified the length of the cable was like 100 meters or couldn't tell how long it was (something along those lines, the cable is actually 20 meters), I plugged it into the switch and it reports it all correctly and works perfectly.

Thanks for the info. I'm now back on Win 8.1 and it working great.
