Hi all,

Since Aug 2011 I have run a Asus P8Z68-V motherboard with a 2500K and Kingston Hyper X 8GB RAM with a Corsair A50 heatsink. It was bought from overclockers as a pre-overclocked bundle. I think it ran at 4.5ghz but can't remember.

Recently I purchased a Phanteks Enthoo Pro M Case with a few new fans and the PWM hub. All worked fine as the Corsair A50 fan was 3 pin so I joined it into the hub and controlled all fans via hub.

Most recent I purchased a Phanteks PH-TC14PE CPU cooler. So after realising these are now PWM fans, I plugged the CPU cooler into CPU and the PWM hub into CPU_OPT. I then found out that CPU_OPT isn't giving any readout despite all fans operating . This is shown in both Speedfan and Asus AI Fan xpert.

Not sure why, but I thought it could be a BIOS issue so in my lack of wisdom I updated the BIOS from v0501 to v3603. So in the end I am now faced with no overclock profile and also the CPU_OPT isn't giving any readouts, but chassis fans still work fine. Can't revert back as no Dual BIOS and Asus won't seem to let me revert back anyway. I did do it through the Asus Update but don't think it will have backed up the previos ROM anywhere?

I would like to re-overclock the system, I guess I'll have to do it manually  But I've no idea where to start seen as I've always just purchased pre-clocked bundles. Is it worth contacting overclockers uk to see if they hold past info on build presets?
