Apologies for a new thread as i know there is an official one but this is not so much about the game itself but a strange problem i have with disk 4.
Basically whenever i put this disk in my drive my 360 drive goes bannanas. Random spinning up and down and i can hear it accessing the disk over and over like its having trouble reading. The game loads fine but once ingame whenever it loads new data ie. going into a battle, it pauses for up to 20 seconds but will not give me any disk read errors. This can happen anytime it has to load data off the disk which is basically all the time. Likewise it will pause every so often during FMV (not that theres many ingame) but only for a second or so.
Strangest of all is my drive makes virtually no noise when this disk is in apart from frantic disk access sounds. I can hardley hear it spinning where as normally the drive sounds like my dyson.
There is not a mark on the disk at all and no visible warping or defects.
Wondering if anyone else has come across this with Lost Odyssey or any other 360 game and anything i can do about it...
