You on mission 3 yet Mr spew?
If so, how the **** do you kill that giant worm?!

Use the VS's, pickup an extra gattling gun, and just keep shooting it's tail with all the thermal energy, you will need to keep side stepping it, and jumping around to keep getting access to it,... when the VS's are crushed, just pick up one of the gattling guns and use that..

Usual place doesnt say it is, although I cant confirm either way from the websites I normally look at.

Looks to be available "elsewhere" and previous ruling on here have been that games should not be discussed before they are available legally over here I think.

Great news, will certainly be picking up a version from Asia at some point. Probably not straight away, as Ive still got GOW, Splinter Cell, COD3 and R6 to go thorugh :p

Bah, I think it looks pants, just your usual shoot em up! To be fair I'm pants at FPS. :p So my opinion is pretty biased. Did play the demo but just didn't like it.

well i played the early demo from way back and though that the levels presented were a bit too easy and probably didn't show the full scope of what the game could do but I thought it was a cool idea for a game. I know not everybodys cup of tea but I enjoyed it enough to think this will be a game that I will get.

Then after reading the review in official Xbox 360 mag it made me think that yes it will be a game I want. So although I have several games to finish I have this on order and will be awaiting it with anticipation.

I personally liked the idea of running around with big guns and just blasting everything in sight plus if they can fine tune the controls a little more than the early demo i will be very happy.

95 out of 100 from another online review site (which Im not going to link to - dont have time to check for swearies / possible competitor links etc).

This one is gonna be good :

And last but certainly not least are the graphics which are truly next-generation quality. The models are high polygon, the textures are high resolution, the effects are amazing, and it all looks incredible especially on a HD-TV. The sound is just as good and features great sounds and effects, a cool background score, and well done English voice overs.

Pros

Varied and fun gameplay
Great enemy design
Incredible boss battles
Mechs are easy and fun to operate
Online is a dream
Graphics are beautiful
Voice acting doesn’t suck
Story is interesting and coherent
Great innovation in several areas like health management

Cons

Little nags here and there I mentioned above

I'm playing Lost Planet and R6: Vegas at the moment, and whilst I think Vegas is better (benchmark since most here seem to be playing it), Lost Planet remains great. Buy with confidence!

I have just a little nag. The game looks great on those vids so i guess on a LCD with HD it will be amazing. But what i noticed from the video was more of a gameplay/story inconsistancy... If the thermal energy was so important to the survival of everyone there, how come its only the main character that picks it up? Just a little point but a pretty big plot hole :D

This is explained 'in-game'.
