Lost Planet - 360

I didn't like the demo much, I thought it was bland too. However, after reading some reviews/previews I imported a copy, and I'm glad I did. This game is great, and I concur that graphically it's almost on a par with GoW. The sheer scale of some of the adversaries is breath-taking, and not a hint of slowdown either, it runs beutifully.

Great game.

@ the OP......whereabouts is the video you watched?.

The link posted has screenshots, cant find any vids of it?.

Finished GoW now so I'm looking for something else to take up my time with now. :cool:

If you want to import it, which version should you buy?
I can't find one that says it's region free?
 
My brother has it.

It's pretty good, better than I expected because I'd never heard of it until I played it. I still prefer FPS games though. :p

I have the Jap version, doesn't work in bros' PAL 360. The Asian version is region free I believe.

I completed this a few days back, some epic bosses. The extreme difficulty is ridiculously taxing...not sure I'll get far with that.

Not impressed, feels like GoW but considerably slower gameplay. Oh, and dont fail a mission or youll be back at the start :(

It is pretty cool how you can detacth the gun from the walking machine things though and have your own personal minigun :cool:
 
Really enjoyed the demo of this, now getting the impression from reviews that it's pretty good, might have to make a purchase:)

7 hours to complete? bit short isn't it?

That was on normal, which may translate to easy in the PAL release. It was still challenging though, and there are harder modes.
 
It's good...........but not GOW good.

Trouble is, GOW is so good in many area's (not saying it's the best game ever or anything) that it shows up many games. It really does show them how certain things should be done.

Still, it's a fine game and has it's own merits. Some of the boss battles are superb! It's a bit short though (although I can say that about GOW too). I haven't tried online yet, but I hear it's supposed to be pretty good.

Would I think twice about buying it again? Nope, I enjoyed it!
 
I've got this game, i turned it on and played it for a few minutes, seems ok but didnt really grab my interest a lot so i gae it awa to my bro, gears of war on the other hand, well thats a keeper

Yeh I'm with you on that! GoW is definitely the best looking game on the 360. Shame about the actual game, it's just too short!
