Has nayone go this on the ps3 thikning of buying it but there has been a lot of conflicting reviews some saying its good and other slating it.

Anyone got any first hand opinons on this

Thanks in advance

Played the demo and just couldnt get into at all! Weird physics and generally rubbish gameplay! Give the demo a go, its online only though.

I had this for my 360 before it gave up the ghost. I will most likely get it again for PS3 as i loved the single player and more so the multi player.

I haven't played it, but apparently its a worse 360 -> PS3 port than The Darkness, which was pretty bad compared to 360 version.

I've had the game, it's a good game singleplayer, couldn't really get into the multiplayer tho. I had the 360 version so I'm not sure if it's a good port or not.

i dont know much about army of two
but avoid this at all costs - i have played it for about 4 hours and it is worse in every respect apart from maybe the sound

a really bad port
and a shoddy effort
i only hope they dont get tempted and put dead rising on the ps3 in the same manner

Is it that bad?? Few reviews given it 9 out of 10 etc. Whats wrong with the port ??

It's nowhere near that bad. I've played both, And yes. It doesn't look as good as the 360 version. But if the 360 version never existed, or if you'd never played it. You'd not say the game wasn't playable

The game in it's own right, Is fine. Compare it with the 360, and it's slightly worse graphically. Nothing else.

Why not just download the online demo?
That's what I did, to at least get an idea of how it looks and plays.

I was all set to buy it.

Downloaded the demo.

Played it.

Decided there's no way in hell I'm going to pay for that.
End of.

Gunna get it on PC I think instead.

V1N.

Like The Darkness then? I have played it on both and the PS3 version does look poor compared to the 360 version, but that didn't stop me enjoying the fantastic game.

draw distance is rubbish
texture mapping and pixel fill rates are slower than the 360 and it is noticable

framerate is dire in busy sections of the game

in general it just doesnt feel as polished as the 360 or pc version
