lost receipt for intel SSD :(

oh no - I bought a second Intel X25 M SSD from a forum and have had it in a box for about 7 weeks ... impulse buy... now its time to install it.... cant find the receipt.

was bought at a shop so no online receipt

anybody know whats Intel like for warranty returns if anything goes wrong in the future.... ?

just wondering.

I returned a cpu some years ago in its 2nd year after the retailer refused to honour the warranty after the 1st year and Intel would not accept the return unless I could send them a (scanned) copy of the original receipt, however, they may have changed their warranty returns conditions since then as that was a few years ago...
