Lost Season 3 - Does it get any better?

I remember I stopped watching on TV when it got to the middle of Season 3... I might go back and watch it again because it's a shame that I don't know what the whole deal with the show is :p

Yeah season 3 is pretty dull.

Thankfully after it they decided they were only doing three more seasons; that and the writers strike gave them a chance to fully plan out the end.

As a result season 4 is brilliant, season 5 is very good, and I have no doubt that season 6 will be awesome too.

Season 4, episode 5. The Constant. That's the one I was trying to think of, watch up to there then see if you want to carry on. I'd stake a shiny pound coin that you will. :)

Thanks a lot for all the replies. We've managed to get to episode 6 and I think it's getting a bit better, I just have no interest in the storyline about the others because it's not well done at all. I have a feeling I'll be watching season 4 alone though as my boyfriend is still losing interest :(.

If you can make it to season 4, episode 5 you'll be glad you stuck at it. :)

One of the best pieces of TV I've ever seen. Period.

As for season 3, I felt episodes 2-7 weren't great however none of them hit the low that for me was Fire & Water (Season 2, Episode 10 I think. It was Charlie-Centric). If you can get through those you'll find it picks up again, I think it was mainly due to the fact they were going through another double split if you will with the survivors in 2 different groups. It worked during season 2 as there were main characters in both camps however during S3 all the mains were in one place, forcing a sudden location change and forcing a lot of regular background characters out of the picture.

Season 4 is probably my favourite so far, just because of a certain Martin Keamey. I'd urge you not to look it up at all as it will spoil one of the best Lost characters ever along with some of the best episodes.

I'm extremely excited about the new season yet somewhat sad at the same time. I just hope something comes along after Lost to fill the void.
