Just wondering how many episodes are on series 1? Iv only recently started watching this, iv seen upto DVD 5 of series 1, so upto episode 20.

Is there a DVD 6 out with 4 more episodes for series 1, or do I need series 2 now?

Thanks in advance!

Hardly...its probably one of the most overly hyped shows on TV.

Nothing is resolved in series one at all.

Never watched Lost, everyone is crazy about it and now Prison Break :)

Lol same with me mate, i never actually watched any of it, but heard ppl talking about it, especially prison break so I thought id find out for myself what its all about.

Prison break is really good, that will run upto 22 I think.

Since im now free from exams and everything I thought id watch Lost, iv seen upto episode 20, but I cant find that last dvd anywhere :(

...i found it very difficult to watch on ch4 due to all the commercial breaks

Thats why I dont watch it on tv, neither do I watch prison break on tv. It lasts an hr or so on ch5 when really each episode is like 40 mins!

It does drag on a bit, but the way the shows made is absolutely brilliant. The acting is superb, the flashbacks give an interesting insight into the characters' personalities and the numerous references and clues dropped in are great fun picking up on.

don't know if its against the rules to say this but

lost is one show DEFINATLY not worth watching on TV, ruined my enjoyment 10 fold.
Oh puh-lease! If you think watching Lost on Channel 4 is bad, you should try watching television over in the states. "An advert every 5 minutes" is a huge exaggeration. I have series 1 on DVD and watched most of it on Channel 4; I couldn't care less about the adverts.

If they don't start making some ground soon i'll probably stop watching it
This, I totally agree with. Channel 4 are holding back because of Desparate Housewives, and as a result us Brits are lagging behind pretty badly. Sweden, Norway, Poland, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Portugal, Malaysia, Singapore and Latin America have all started airing season 2, yet Channel 4 insist on postponing it yet further :(

Lost is addictive, and extremely stupid, the plot is just lame, and there's no real revelations in any episode, just more questions, ALL THE TIME! Gah.

I can say! I watched the first episode, and decided it wasn't that interesting, and kept picking out flaws or over exaggerations on things so got bored. Never did see the second episode......
