Lost

And which bits would they be (from the ones that have uk aired) I can see just about all of them coming just as soon as they start. I dont think I can think of a time when a twist hasn't been seen from a mile off.

I'm not saying your wrong, just that i'm curious to know what you didnt see coming???

there is a nasty twist with a character in the last 2-3 eps... you might see it coming, maybe not. ;)

Ah so in two series its the last 3 episodes of the 2nd series that made you think. Thats hardly that's hardly good writing is it. ;)

I mean how hard is it to take 50 people and think of 50 reasons why they ended up on a plane with a bit of background story. As soon as I saw the docs wife leave him ,I thought bet she went off with someone on the island.

I'm waiting to see if i'm right :D That will probably be season 3's big shocker.

The true genius of lost is how they pad each one out to an hour with the ads :D

from what ive read this will be the final season for lost as the guy is starting another show. As others have said half is being aired in autumn, then his new show is coming out and the final lot will be aired in 2007.

I should also warn everyone that you are not allowed to mention un-aired eps :)

Lost simply is only good for 4to6 episodes a season, the first 2/3 and the last 2/3 - other then that its boring.

Im just more frustrated with it because it never ever answers questions, just opens more.

I found watcing Season 2 a chore in just some hope that a good episode would appear

I love it, i enjoy every episode. I really enjoy seeing the flashbacks from their past and little bits of the bigger picture being revealed. If the questions were all answered in series 2 there would be no point in a series 3.

If you watch it on C4 with all the adverts the it is really hard to get into it, especially if you have missed an episode or 2. My advice is get the box set a few beers and relax and watch them one after the other.

You're honestly telling me you saw what happened in the s1 finale coming? It's been a long time since i've watched s1 so i cant really reel off a list. Considering there's nice minor twists in most episodes i cant exactly rememeber them all. What about Rousseau taking the baby by pretending the Others were there way back in s1. What about when they opened the hatch in the first palce? You can honestly tell me you expected a guy donw there pushing numbers into a machine every 108 minutes? You expected those numbers to turn up everywhere in other episodes? You expected the Black Rock to be a ship? You expected the movie in the hatch? (This is just stuff coming back into my head after reading a guide to a random episode from s1.. i wont go on, lol!)

EDIT: Hope i didnt post any spoilers. I shouldnt have!

EDIT2:

What has that got to do with the writing or creation of the show at all?

You got a link for that? :)

Thats where people's opinions simply differ. I love the fact there are more questions than answers. It makes me want to know more and hence watch more! I cant see why that would annoy anyone -- but each to their own! For example, i'd much rather know what relevance the numbers in Lost have than to whether or not Jack Bauer will get out of yet-another tight spot surrounded by a gazillion bad guys (which he inevitably will)

Good advice!

Finished s2 3 months or so ago, and let's just say, they've left it so more characters can join the game.

Problem is they're already running out of flashbacks. Hope they will only do another 1-2 seasons, too much effort otherwise!!
