LOTRO Stress test beta..Fileplanet only it seems..

their website is deffo stressed thats for sure.

and after my first download of the cleint was corrupt so am I... :mad:

Im in position 440 now btw. If there is any other servers open could somebody post because I doubt I'm going to move much in this queue for a while.

Rofl, been stuck on the account subscription page for the last 20 mins :D
status bar is still only half way across and hasn't moved for thre last couple of minutes
 
after submitting numerous words on the accounts subscription page (tip: the words are in upper case but it only worked for me finally when i typed the word in lower case)

gonna try it out now then.
 
well, hmmmmm, this is interesting.

there is only one world - Northmoor - and it is full. So I am in a cue - I know this is a stress test but for who - the game or me?

Seriously, my time is worth more than this. tempted to go and play something else. It is after all just an MMO.

Oh well at least I can still use my comp in the meantime :( As long as I get in there once to look a look around I'll be happy ;)
 
It's certainly "testing" alright :D
Will just wait and see if I can get in, if not, then there is no way I'll get the game on release

I just remembered reading something about firewall ports

to play LOTRO, you will need to open the following ports via your
computers firewall / router:

TCP: 80, 8081, 5015, 9000, 2900, 2916

UDP: 2900-2909, 5015, 9001-9012

how do I do that? I am in my router (netgear) but can't find any options to do so?? :o
