LOTRO

Not been following the f2p model on this game, so quick question.

Is it the existing realms that are going f2p or will it be a new set of realms? ie can i play with my mates who have been playing for a year or so.

Cheers

Existing realms, and you can log on with your old characters if you have them. The main change is that outside the starter areas (Coombe, Duillond, Thorin's Gate I think) you can't pick up quests. You'll still be able to explore all the pre-moria lands and grind your way to 50 via mobs if you can stand it, but realistically you'll need to fork out if you want to progress.

It's really just a different version of a free trial.

Cheers might see how far I got on my old account :)

So as a monthly subscriber like me, what am I classed as? Premium or VIP? I can't seem to figure it out.
