I was already on openDNS when I had problems, still having issues now. I can ping every site I can't access just fine though, so it doesn't seem like a DNS problem to me.

God I hate the twitter crowd hating on a company that has just pledged to double everyone speeds at a massive cost. Also most of them don't have any idea what the reason for the problem is.

Twice i've upgraded to VM's new broadband service and twice I've had to downgrade because they couldn't provide that service and I was better off on the lower speed.

Ah this explains me not getting into PSN - was hoping it was their DNS and moving back over to OpenDNS might fix it...

EDIT: Just noticed my 3rd DNS on my router is an OpenDNS anyway, trying OpenDNS hasnt worked on my PS3 neither :/

on VM here (Gloucestershireshire, Staverton Exchange)

Our Tivo is reporting problems with network availability, Broadband isn't working at all.

Earlier this evening 150 on the Virgin home phone worked, just tried now and it won't call in, calls to other numbers is ok though.

I'd imagine VM are having a few... issues...

Vm here too, websites slow all day. Some not loading, some getting time-out issues and some just saying that the page can't be found.

Arrived home after work to find our Virgin Media broadband connection has stopped working. The modem says that it can get a downstream signal lock, it just doesn't receive a DHCP response back. Thankfully my iPhone 3GS on Three is tethering to my Mac fine.

Hit and miss problems here, some sites refusing to load, others are zippity including OcUK. Odd.
