The links is still relevant whether he was being sarcastic or not.

Also, given sarcasm is impossible to tell without punctuation implying it it stands to reason anyone can make a stupid statement then pretend they were 'only joking' when pulled up on it. I'd suggest using a wink smiley or [sarcasm] tags next time. So non-bright sparks like me without mind reading abilities understand ;)

I had put a spoiler saying it was a lie but thought it would be better if the OP believed it so edited it out.
