Lotus/Renault

Magnussen can probably save the team more than $46m in car parts that Maldonado destroys over the course of a season.
 
Really hope this is true and K-Mag gets the seat....he deserves to be in F1 and would be a great move by Renault
 
I'm assuming maldanados money is pure loss
I'm sure this is actually not a good thing for the team.
With the recent implications in the co2 thing I think development money and a weak engine won't make for a pretty showing next year

I would think they will slip to near bottom of the teams.

FI and TR I expect to beat Renault substantially

Closest thing to support for a team for me is Renault/lotus whatever the name. So this isn't going to be pretty. I think I'd actually rather maldanados (only for his money obviously)

K Mag brings his own sponsorship, but it won't be anywhere near what Maldonado did. I would assume the only reason its been going on this long is because, in all honesty, Renault would love to get hold of that £30m if at all possible.
 
I would think the loss is fairly big one in terms of the budget of Renault. So I assume development will be hit.
