loud neigbours

I have just put my son to bed and all i can hear from the garden two doors up is swearing and loud chat.

why should have to put up with hearing constant F's whilst My son is trying to go to sleep hes only 3.

what can I do about it.

Ring environmental health, they'll be able to come out asap, usually within the hour depending on how close or busy your local inspector is, and issue them a written warning

If they ignore that one then they get a final written warning. Ignore that and its court

And dont worry its completely anonymous unless it has to go to court

Environmental health won't do anything about it considering it's only just past nine. That's what they told us when we complained about this group of thirty or so cretins running up and down the street whilst shouting at the top of their voices.

It's simple, all you need is a microphone, a few loud speakers, and a computer. Search and download software to produce inverse sounds, and presto, any sound that comes through the wall the speakers will blast it's inverse thus knocking out any holler.

Would it be able to process it quickly enough to cancel it out though?

Phone the police tell them you can hear lots of swearing and shouting and you think it might be a domestic.
