Loud, Tappy shoes

^^ seems like you have experience in the situations you have mentioned

I have always taken pleasure from the sound of a well measured foot step but I have an amazing habit of frightening the life out of people who don't see or hear me approach. This has always been entirely unintentional :p.

I'm almost silent when walking around, so I wouldn't like anything loud.

Always amusing to sneak up on people without the noticing.

Is it just a bloke thing to like shoes that make a nice loud tap when you take a step?

Nothing beats the sound of my size 10s slapping the ground as I stride through Paddington station in a busy rush hour. There isn't anything quite like it to make your presence immediately known to all around you.

That is all

Almost spat my drink out when I read Paddington station at rush hour.

I was expecting you to say you like the sound of your size 10s slapping the ground as you exit your chauffeur driven Rolls-Royce or something.... :D

But striding through Paddington station in a busy rush hour amongst tramps and stinking students, after sitting for hours on urine drenched seats while breathing in everybody's evaporated sweat.
