Louder Music on Computer Speakers

JUST for headphones? Or maybe speakers too? If speakers, decent s/h amp e.g. Cambridge audio, or maybe a t-amp?

If just headhones then you have two options - portable (e.g. Friio), or not portable.. could also get a DAC built in. Difficult from new but certainly achievable s/h
 
Surely your on board audio isn't the problem here, my realtek can go to really high volumes. What headphones are you currently using.
