yes its MLID , but you know......
he did a video with pcworld the other week and stated people could go back and watch his videos to prove he was right, but yes like most leakers and rumour merchants he does this for this very point "seeeee i was right!!!!....no ignore the other videos"Was he ever right about anything where he didn't have another video saying the exact opposite 2 days before or after?
If I was AMD I'd try to launch as early as I could to put the pressure on.Nvidia if oversupplied will delay rtx4000 as long as amd allows them to do so
Yes, although it sounds like they have a lot fewer to shift than Nvidia. If they dropped prices they'd shift them in a week.AMD will need to clear channel first
Nvidia if oversupplied will delay rtx4000 as long as amd allows them to do so
The one reason I can't see them delaying that long is AMD. If, as rumoured, it's going to be close this generation why give your competition a free run selling to GPU hungry gamers?
They got burnt badly last time and don't have the same weight as Nvidia so they probably don't have much volume to shiftAMD will need to clear channel first
nVidia has rarely held back on a new launch due to overstock - they are more likely to rebadge under the new line up numbers or off-load to OEM builders, etc.
If the rumours are to be believed the channel has a very large quantity of stock they don't want to sell at a loss. So not stuff that can be rebadged. They wernt in this position with 2000 series; channel has slot of 3000 series volume.
Last time this was helped by people being at home and miners. I don't think this will be the same as last time.Limited supply the bots will be ready to buy these up so prepare for scalpers prices I just hope this doesn't happen again as this time it will be greed over miners.
I suspect it's opened a few eyes to "these companies are not your friend".Isn't it frustrating that these companies are now is a position to supply in free volume and provide value to customers who have waited so long for the opportunity only to find they are deliberately withholding supply to keep the grossly inflated margins they enjoyed with the miners. If the cards aren't being used to print money and only play games their value is greatly reduced, I think Nvidia and AMD need to remember what purpose their cards are actually designed for and who their real customer base is.
