Low 3DM05 score on PC. Help please

Hi All

I've just knocked together another PC for a m8.
It's an AMD64 3000+, 1 gig DDR400, Asrock PCIE M/B and a 6600GT (256ddr3).

Loaded all drivers afaik for MB etc and when I run 3dm05 I only get a score of 2650. Looking at the tables etc it seems most people are hitting 2900-3000 which makes this look a little low. This is default settings on 3DM05.

So any ideas people?

Do you have the card set to performance? Are the systems you're comparing it against overclocked?

you are 300 points behind what is probably the top ten you are looking at.

That score is fine mate

OK Good stuff, , that's for the info.

Yeah I didnt really check in detail the scores I saw so maybe they were the 'top end' of them with o/clocks. At least I aint built my mate a slug (ish, cant complain for 500 all in with 17"lcd and AMD64 can he now!)
