low 3dmark06 score?

Hi all, my rig is in my signiture

The CPU is O/c'd to 4GHz and the GTX at 660/2000

And I get 13,000?? Pretty low isnt it? lol

That does seem quite low. What are your temps like for your CPU and graphics card?

gtx idles around 49, and 66 under load.

core1 and core 2 are about 40degrees each under load, 25 idle

itll be lower than systems of similar spec on xp due to vista being slightly slower in 3dmark

so you think If i had XP it would magically go another 5000 points or so???

i got most of these components based on people's recommendations from here, and other people seem to get a lot higher scores!

why do i need to try crysis, it sucks on that even more than it does on cod4!

i only get 40fps on cod4.... :s something is wrong here

Did you install the chipset drivers properly for your motherboard? That can cause problems. In comparison, I get around 12.5K in 3dmark06 with the pc in my sig, so I would expect you to get around 15K.

Are all your drivers there, and are they all the latest versions?

Doesn't seem stupidly low, but a bit low all the same. I assume you did all the usuals, changed to "performance" rather than "quality" in NVCP, lower the resolution etc.
