Low End CPU & GPU or High End AMD GPU?

which would be better for mid quality gaming?

an Athlon 750k with an MSI GeForce GT 630

OR

a AMD A10-6800K Black Edition 4.10GHz on its own

I am open to recommendations of APUs or CPU & GPU combos around the £100 mark.

The A10 with some fast RAM would be my choice personally, you'll get good gains from overeclocking the IGP.

I personally would get the Gigabyte FM2+ board. The g1 looks like a good quality board and can be paired with kaveri if you ever decide to upgrade when it is released. As Martini has said, there are big benefits to fast RAM with an APU.
