I neada dirt cheap AGP card for my secondary PC that isnt TOO slow. i want to play games on it (well not me, ill be on MY pc!) for LAN.
i have a small wallet.
as long as it can run modern games at low quality its ok!

so far the list is:

Geforce 128mb 6200
128mb 5700
128mb 5600XT

or 128mb Radeon 9600 pro

im not sure how these compare as they all seem pretty similar in specs and price. im not biased towards ATI or Nvidia at all i have an X850XT in my other PC.

60 quids too much to spend on a card that i dont care too dearly about using :P
also i have no money, and i need a card quickly so i can have the PC working.

i used to have an X700 PCI-e, bargain lil card it was.

..yes. im tight. :)

I just got a GF4 Ti4200 for the kids PC. Plays COD1 on full detail and COD2 pretty well, not tried much else on it yet.

Its only a 64Mb card but its an ultra version from gainward with a nice overclock

Yeah its only a DX8 card.

ATM its CPU limited by the kids Athlon 900

Id go for the 9600 Pro.

But look out in MM, a 5900XT went for £35 not long ago.

Id be on the lookout for either a 5900XT/Ultra, or a 9800 Pro, maybe even a 5800/Ultra

is it possible to unlock the 4pipelines of the 6200?

Not any new ones, only the first ones that were out. The ones on 6600 pcb's.
Now all 6200s are all 64bit crappy things.
