low level format bootable ISO

im planning on selling my WD hard drive and i want to write zeroes to it using a tool i used to use on a floppy disk.. i dont have floppy drive any more

is it just as straight forward as burning a bootable cd with all the files that should be on the floppy?

thanks a lot now i need to decide if i use WD tools or ULTIMATE boot disk
